Not that they were down really, it just seemed like we were in a holding pattern. We have both been waiting to get better jobs. It really looks like Chris is going to get this job as an Investigator for the DA's office. It has finally paid off all those weekends at the Academy for almost a year. Also, I am closer than ever to finally student teaching. Finishing the credential plan is something that I have put on the back burner for a couple of years. Honestly I do not think that I had the confidence to take these stupid tests and that is the only thing that is holding me back. I have already passed one and I am waiting to find out about test #2 and then the last one is in July. So hopefully by January I will finally switch careers and get a "real job".
We just bought a new car and it is a decision that we really feel good about. I mean we would often talk about how we regretted buying a house so soon and life was so much more simple in our little apartment. I finally feel that things are looking up and are only going to get better for us in the coming year!
